FULL MOON IN LEO
We'll be experiencing this Full Moon in Leo at 27 degrees on the 16th of February 2022.
My interpretation of this Full Moon energy pertains to the integration of who we once were and who we are becoming.
To be intentional with our creation from the rolls of destiny’s dice.
Of course, this is a general overview of the energies and will affect everyone in different ways depending on where the signs and aspects play out in your chart, but as a general gauge, please enjoy this Astrological spread as food for thought.

Much like the New Moon in Aquarius, Uranus continues to play an influential hand in the celestial collage, curating the background for what is to play out after this Full Moon cycle.
Uranus extends itself to Jupiter, Saturn and the Mars//Venus conjunction in the respective sextile, square and trine which you can see in the chart above as the two blue lines with the red line in the middle.
These aspects are a continuation of liberation, creating that excitement and interest around new ideas and any breakthroughs that may have revealed themselves. Perhaps there was an influx of potential opportunities arising whether that was from kindred like-minds or from intuitive downloads sparking the flints of our psyche.
These hits with the inspiration stick brought a welcoming wake up call from the frustrating square between Saturn and Uranus we’ve experienced since 2020. This aspect wont be leaving us until 2023, FYI. This square is definitely more of a present yet backdrop energy as it is not as tight of a 90 degree angle (which makes up a square aspect).
Nevertheless, depending on where Aquarius//Taurus falls into our individual charts, we may have been struggling with these areas, feeling limited, restricted and frustrated in our endeavours. This could relate to our networks, the greater collective, our physical, earthly experience, our values and liberating ourselves from things we’ve wanted to outgrow and innovate.
However, this exact conjunction between Mars//Venus in Capricorn alongside the trine to Uranus in Taurus is really here to shake shit up. When Venus and Mars are conjunct, our desire and needs go from 0-60 in 3.5. Much like Rihanna’s 2008 hit ‘Shut up & Drive’ our desire for intimacy and expressing creative energy urges on explosive, oozing charisma. With this conjunction in Capricorn, we can see this as a revolution towards our structures and strategies - specifically wherever Capricorn falls in our chart as an individual and if that impacts any of our personal planets.
The trine to Uranus chimes in to this Mars//Venus conjunction by amping up our desire for liberation from any rigid restrictions or monotonous routines we’ve fallen into. This aspect will give us the energy to act upon any creative projects, relationships or activities we’ve wanted to explore - really opening up our minds up to experimentation and stimulation.
This is a time for embracing the Uranian energy of any unexpected twists or turns in ways that work towards our liberation.
We can look to the growing conjunction that Venus//Mars will be making to Pluto in Capricorn for ways to transform and rebirth our values and modes of operation as we progress through life’s journey. This conjunction will be exact on the 2nd of March for the New Moon in Pisces.
We may have experienced certain triggers or dynamics related to our Mercurial expression revealed in our thinking and communication styles. Perhaps there has been misunderstandings or power struggles in our own line of thinking that has been revealed. These mishaps may have transpired through work, interpersonal relationships or through social media.
We can look to the Mercury//Pluto conjunction as a guide to delve deeper into revealing our subconscious secrets to garner understanding into our own inner workings.
Now, for the most important part of this lunar cycle, the Grand Cross between the Sun//Moon and the Lunar Nodes!
A Grand Cross is where there are two sets of oppositions, creating four square aspects which create an intersecting cross in the middle of a chart. This can be considered to be the first Eclipse activation for the Taurus//Scorpio axis before the first Partial Solar Eclipse in April.
Eclipses and the Lunar Nodes in Astrology bring the karmic, fated flavour to our celestial journey experienced on Earth.
The last time we experienced the Taurus//Scorpio axis was back in 2012-2014 when the North Node was in Scorpio. When the Lunar Nodes aspect or transit through our personal chart, we can gain specific insight as to the areas this can impact us on a personal level.

On a collective level, when the Sun//Moon square with the Lunar Nodes, this prompts us to integrate the lessons related to our solar and lunar values. This means evaluating and integrating the ways in which we transform and express our ego through creativity, action and generosity (solar) and where we can nurture ourselves and our vulnerabilities (lunar) as means for transformation.
In traditional Astrology, the Sun is associated with ‘masculine’ energy whereas the Moon is associated with ‘feminine’ energy.
Of course, gender is a construct and not to be taken literally, but for linguistic, communication sake this Grand Cross invites us to integrate our driven (Mars, Sun) energies with our vulnerable receptive qualities (Moon, Venus) through neutral innovation (Uranus).
